Palm Oil

Palm oil comes from the pulp of the fruit from the palm trees. In soap, palm oil helps to stabilize lather, adds to making a harder bar of soaps, and acts as a secondary lathering agent. Palm oil is becoming increasingly controversial because of its environmental impact. Over half of the recipes in our soaps won’t use it. If needed, we only use certified sustainable palm oil (CSPO).
