Palm Oil

Palm oil comes from the pulp of the fruit of the palm trees. In soap, palm oil helps to stabilise the lather, adds to the manufacture of a harder soap bar and acts as a secondary foaming agent. Palm oil is becoming increasingly controversial because of its environmental impact. More than half of our soap recipes will not use it. If necessary, we only use certified sustainable palm oil (CSPO).
